11.  AOB

·        Mr Barnes has been advised that the car park next to the Bowls Club is not suitable and not available to become a tennis court. The space available is not large enough for a full tennis court. It was initially set up as a car park with the flexibility to be used for fun as a short-term temporary measure to allow funds to be raised to build three-courts and set up a tennis club that could participate in competitions close to the cricket ground. Interest in doing this waned and the space was returned to the bowls club for sole use as a car park.

·        PAT testing was completed, and equipment met the required standard. Thanks to KM for organising this.

·        WI folded in March. There were too few members to make it viable.

·        GW submitted a note of resignation to the committee. GW represented the Autumn Club which is no longer viable and has now folded. GW was thanked for his excellent contribution to the committee.

·        NR gave notice of her intention to stand down in November.NR was thanked for the work she has undertaken, particularly on the website and for giving a good period of notice to allow the committee to find another person to take on the responsibility for keeping the website up to date.
