The computer club meets for 2 hours on a Friday morning (10-12) for three six week blocks each year. Sessions start in January, after Easter and in September. We usually advertise the exact starting date about a month in advance. Look out for information on the village hall notice boards and on the website.
The next set of workshops will start on 9th September 2016
Anyone can come to these sessions; they are quite informal. There are usually two or three people on hand to work with those who attend. We offer a programme of training in a whole range of areas and we try to help you to solve any problems you may have in using computer technology.
Last year we taught people how to Skype, access the internet, create labels, take photographs, sort out files and manage email. Roger Styring, our resident technical expert, was also able to sort out teething problems with Windows 10, password changes and downloading new software.
We tend to learn together which gives everyone an opportunity to offer support and good ideas as well as to gain new skills.
