Profit & loss at the end of January shows an operation surplus of £4593.87 excluding donations but including interest from the Saffron Account. Fewer events so far this year and this has impacted on our revenue. All to consider new clubs, events, groups.
Action: All to identify new events/ clubs we might be able to introduce.
- Power supply & energy update
Visit from NCEL confirmed that battery pack will be in the yard in a freestanding cabinet. Solar panels OK, although one less needed as will not fit around the chimney. Solicitors still working on lease agreement with NE.
- Development Plan update – review & internal decorating
Phased stages – hall and supper room, kitchen and chair store to be done together. Toilets will be painted separately. Cupboards, and storage areas will be in the second phase and the lobbies in the third phase. The phases will be over three years to create a manageable funding cycle for redecoration. Outside will be a separate piece of work. Costs and dates will be confirmed once KM has met with potential contractors.
NE representative agreed Karndean flooring for the hall.
Action: KM to take the proposed timetable forward and seek quotes.
Action: JH to inform Ninette that LBC should be sought for the proposal to cover the floor.
- Policy Review: Data Protection (Add in treasurer and booking officer – access on Xero.)
Agreed: Data Protection policy update accepted.
