Our second art group exhibition this year took place mid August in the Lesbury village hall as usual. Attendance over the two days was excellent. Our visitors seem to appreciate the paintings on displays so sales of artwork were good. The raffle in aid of the local Hospice did well and the winners were rewarded with substantial hampers.
The cafe was well attended as our visitors enjoyed the excellent selection of cakes with coffee or tea. Our members did an outstanding job coping.
There were over 200 artwork displayed and our treasurer was kept very busy handling the sales.
