Thursday 9 June training on CPR and using a defibrillator
Dougie McEwan from the Stephen Carey Fund has kindly agreed to provide a free training session for the community. The session will probably last between 1½ to 2 hours and will focus primarily on how to deal with a casualty who has collapsed with no obvious injuries, making appropriate assessments and where appropriate how to perform CPR and use a defibrillator. The session will be practical, so we will issue tickets to help us to ensure we manage the number attending.
As with all those involved in the Stephen Carey Fund, Dougie is a volunteer with a day job! We will have a collection for the Fund at the end of the event.
