The Village Hall will continue to offer activities in line with Government and Northumberland County Council guidance. The Covid-19 precautions taken meet with Government requirements and this enables us to continue to run a reasonable number of events in the hall. Please read more on your activity group’s web page. The Village Hall has its own QR code so that those of you with a smart phone can ‘check in’ to the NHS track and trace system.
The Garden Club
The Garden Club started on Tuesday the 1st September with a lively talk by Professor John Hobrough, a well known bee keeper and member of the British Beekeepers Association (BBKA). John talked about the importance of bees in our lives and told us about some of the latest developments that have led to bumper supplies of honey. On the 3 November 2020 we will be joined by Liz Clark who will talk to us about hedgehogs.
Film Matinees and Nights
We successfully trialled running a film twice on the same day in September and will continue to offer two showings each month. The first performance will be at 3pm and the second at 7pm. Hygiene arrangements are in place to clean between each performance.
The next film is on 20 November .
