This time we had asked Nick Potter for another visit. The subject was a winter sceen. Nick had prepared the canvas with a few light outlines of the planned painting. During his painting Nick explained carefully what he was doing and why he was doing it. He also took time to tell us about his experience when working with commissions. The photos show a few stages of the progress of the painting and the final painting. During the coffee break we all took the opportunity to study the painting close up and ask Nick more akward questions which he happily tackled.
